11th Annual Ferrario Elmira Jazz Festival – Two Days of Fun

The Ferrario Elmira Jazz Festival is a two-day festival of jazz music in Upstate NY. Can’t make it to Upstate New York? No problem, the Jazz Festival will come to YOU! It’s also a ‘Hybrid Event.’ That is, you can watch it virtually in your home or In-Person at the venue.

Day 1, Friday, August 12, features guitarist Paul Brown, and keyboardist Gregg Karukas. Paul is a hugely successful Grammy Award-winning guitarist, producer, composer, and engineer known for his crossover jazz and R&B. Gregg is a Grammy-winning jazz keyboardist with a sound that straddles new age, R&B, Brazilian traditions, and pop.

This evening event is at the famous Elmira Clemens Center, and the doors open at 6:00 pm.

Day 2, Saturday, August 13, features flutist Ragan Whiteside, guitarist Julian Vaughn, and local favorite band Top Shelf. Ragan is a Billboard #1 soul-jazz flutist, vocalist, and composer that is a classically trained flutist that fell in love with Jazz and R&B. Julian is a dynamic Kansas City smooth jazz lead bassist with a warm, supple sound and R&B-influenced style.

We move to the fun outdoors at Thorne Street Park in Horseheads, NY. Music starts at 12 noon, and gates open at 10:30 am.

Saturday’s event features lawn seating with food and beverage provided by the EOP CFJP Bistro and food trucks. You may bring your own cooler with food and drinks (alcohol is permitted for those 21 and over – you may consume your beverages out of plastic, no glass, please).
